Kolwezi Congo

The DRC's mining ministry has proposed that workers go on strike to protest the forced transfer to the site due to a coronavirus outbreak. In Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and home to the largest gold and copper mine in the world, the training of twelve artisanal mining cooperatives has begun.

The Kamoa Copper Project is a large stratified copper deposit located in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in Central Africa. The deposit is located in the Central African Copper Belt and is the significant extension of the Kinshasa Copper Belt, the largest copper belt in Africa and the world.

Kolwezi is a major copper and cobalt mining centre and the Kamoa Kakula Project is the largest copper mine in the world and one of the most advanced copper mines in Africa. A view from the top of a hill, which stands on a plot of land that has been reserved for a future temple for several years.

The airport is the only international airport in the country and one of the largest in Africa with a capacity of 1.5 million passengers per day. The airport had to be restrained due to its proximity to the Kamoa Kakula copper mine and other mining facilities.

It has both international and domestic flights from Lusaka, Zimbabwe, and to and from the capital Kibale, Uganda, but does not have any international or domestic aircraft in or out of other countries in the region.

Luena Airport (LUO - FNUE) is located 758 km from Kolwezi DR, Congo, and is used as a domestic flight to Luena, Angola. More than 3,942 rooms are planned for the construction of a new hotel with a capacity of 4,000 rooms and a total of 2,500 rooms.
